Director's Message

It give me immense pleasure to announce that Kamla Nehru Institute of Physical & Social Sciences, Engineering Institute, Sultanpur is going to take a new step in direction of higher studies, year on year with a promise to provide a healthy academic environment which helps in shaping our students as lifelong learners and adapt to the fast changing requirements of work place. KNIPSS Engineering Institute, Faridipur Campus is a premier institute of Kamla Nehru Group of Institutes established 52 years ago with a mission to serve the society by delivering quality engineering education to pass out of schools and transforming them into employable managers, technocrats and above all good citizens of India.

Today we are moving towards fast changing competitive technology oriented world, where, individuals are differentiated on the basis of their academic and professional competencies. At the KNIPSS Engineering Institute my advice to the faculties and staff would be to encourage better contact between students and faculty, develop reciprocity and cooperation among students, encourage active learning, give each one prompt feedback, emphasize time on task, communicate high expectations and self-confidence, and respect diverse talents and ways of learning. Let’s direct them to learning by what amuses their minds so that one may better able to discover the peculiar bent of the genius of each. The students can also adopt some time-tested tips for better learning such as: focusing on learning in more than one way, instead of just listening to classroom lectures, utilize previous learning to promote new learning, gain practical experience by doing research in the library or on the Web, beyond the classroom. Retention, recall and transfer are critical to success. The Mantra of success should be sincerity, discipline, dedication, commitment and honestly in all that we attempt to do.
